... Li Yelan, you are dead.
You recall me mentioning a man named Luther Lansfield that you'd get along well with? He's the creator of my entire universe. And I killed him. I put three of his top executives in the hospital and killed him. Within the universe he'd created, where he'd given himself incredible power. What makes you think any mere assassin could possibly stand against me, magic or no magic? The next time the cuffs give even a little leeway, you'd better start counting your breaths, worm. You're not going to get many of them. And feel free to revel in the knowledge that you're going to be killed by a computer program.
*sigh* I might as well say it, since the charade didn't work. Anyone who heard the rumor that I'm cheating on Sheifa, it was a complete and utter lie. The girl some of you might have seen me with was Sheifa, in disguise. It was an attempt to fool her mother, which has failed spectacularly. Feel free to leave off trying to kill me now.

Date: 2008-07-31 11:58 am (UTC)Oh, don't worry. I'm not some idiot who prefers using his sword arm to his brain. I've spent too long commanding troops to be reckless enough to give her too much of a chance.

Date: 2008-07-31 10:16 pm (UTC)Or it was, at any rate. It was saved from deletion by the sheer willpower of its inhabitants and is now a fully separate universe from 4-D Space, though it's still possible to move between the two - there are paths on Moonbase, Vanguard III, Elicoor II, and Styx in the Eternal Sphere, all of which lead to the terminal in Gemity.
Fairly unremarkable, actually. About six feet tall, blond. Looks around twenty, though I'm fairly sure he's older. He programmed himself giant wings at one point. Doubt he'd have them here, though.

Date: 2008-07-31 10:36 pm (UTC)Huh. I take it your Lansfield didn't accept that the virtual reality was a reality in its own right -- and it survived? That's pretty cool.
Yeah, doesn't sound at all like the guy I'm thinking of.

Date: 2008-07-31 10:39 pm (UTC)No, not really - some people did, though. Luther's sister, for one. And it's amazing what belief can do in the right circumstances.
Oh?

Date: 2008-07-31 10:43 pm (UTC)The sister wasn't the blonde, ice-queen type? And here I thought that was reserved for the likes of Peter Pan.
Bit of a long story.

Date: 2008-07-31 10:48 pm (UTC)Nope. Her name was Blair. Actually got us back into the Eternal Sphere when we were trapped in the offices.
You know, I did, too. But who knows? Most of my closest friends come from other planets.
