It's an idea I really didn't want to think about much. I'm not sure I was ever really in love with Maria... I'm sure I'm not now. But... I suppose I never really stopped to think about whether she really was in love with me.
She never got over finding out that our world started out as a game. If Fayt's world is any indication, she never will. And when I get home...
Dammit, this is going to tear her apart. I don't want to hurt her, but there's no way around it.
