Not exactly. Some people have gone missing, and it's suspected they've been kidnapped as opposed to just vanishing. I thought any empty rooms might be a good place to start.

Meilin, for certain. She's not a member of the Alliance, but she's trustworthy; she's Xiao Lang's cousin and comes from his, Ying Fa's, and Tomoyo's world. I'm hoping to have at least someone who can use magic on the team before we start, but the way things are now we probably can't wait too long.

... Sheifa wants to come.

We're a bit short on magic users at the moment. Ying Fa's willing, but I don't think it would be a good idea to send her with you given the nature of your operation. We can try asking Xiao Lang, though. If I can't talk to him, perhaps Meilin can, since you said they're cousins.

... I don't think you're going to let her come. Are you?

That's a possibility. If not... there was Elise and her roommate - they were planning something a while ago, weren't they? I think I heard something about him being a wizard.

You know how things are right now, Fayt. I don't want her getting into a fight unless she absolutely has to.

It's safer if she doesn't go out on the field, I think. But I suppose there's no stopping her from doing that - regardless of what I assign her to do - if she finds out you're hurt. Which I hope doesn't happen.
