I love the winter weather...

I haven't seen snow like this in such a long time... Gods, have I been here six months already? It seems like ages. I'm beginning to wonder whether I'll ever see home again... But enough of that. It's far too depressing.

After all, it's winter! I love winter, really. Especially the snow. Didn't someone have an idea to build a hill against one of the buildings to go sledding on? I suppose there isn't enough snow yet, but it's so early in the year... When we do get enough snow, I think that would be an amazing idea. Pity the compound's so flat, otherwise we wouldn't really need to build a hill.

Or we can just stick to snowball fights, if we really must. Speaking of which, ours was incredibly fun, Sheifa.

Dear Apris do I ever miss Ather. And... Maria. Fayt and the others, too, of course, but especially those two. Especially Maria. I keep feeling like things would be so much clearer if she was here. It was months since I'd seen her even before they brought me here. Still, I'm glad they didn't drag her into this mess.
